Sleepless Nights are not inevitable

CNN and health Magazine recently published an article on sleeplessness on their web site. Most people need between 7 and 8 hours of sleep and, if undisturbed, studies show we consistently sleep about 8 hours, 45 minutes. But if you are like many of us, you are not getting the sleep you need and you make due with what your life lets you get away with.

The effects of sleep deprivation are serious. Research has pointed to lack of sleep as a contributor to weight gain, depression, a suppressed immune system, and diabetes, according to the article. Medical science is studying the issue intensely, but few definitive cures are available.

Actually, it bit me about 5 years ago, when my dh and I moved into our first home together. Ever since, I have been addicted to kitchen remodeling magazines, Trading Spaces, HGTV, etc. It is sad, isn't it? No supplement could have prevented this! I hope I've found the cure, though... If you're interested in the misadventures of remodeling a 1949 red brick Cape Cod house, you'll enjoy the saga and pictures. Soon I'll transition from "memoire" mode to "current events" as, now in a kind of scruffy looking 1986 cookie-cutter house, we start looking for ways to add form and beauty.

Some days Blogger can be a little tempermental, and it took me a while to finally get my July 7 entry posted... finally it went today!

Now I wanted to let you know that coming soon we'll have a page for our new product, WinSpa Hydratherapie Cleanser, which is replacing the BioComplex Gentle Foaming Cleanser, although we will have a limited number of both available for a time.

We also now have a page on the site about diabetes and weight loss, which focuses on the results people have had with Medifast. It is very moving when we hear about how either the supplements we sell or Medifast have helped people improve their health significantly and even get off their medications, many of which have dangerous side effects.

Weight Loss and More - Page Updates

I just wanted to point out a couple of recent updates we made to the My Natural Supplements website.

A product that has received a lot of attention from people on fast weight loss diets is StePHan Elasticity. While Elasticity is often targeted as an anti-aging skin care product, it also is of great help to people who are losing weight quickly and are concerned about loose skin after weight loss. You may have seen the reality shows about plastic surgery... almost every other case is someone who lost a lot of weight and is having excess folds of skin removed. BioLean II vs. BioLean Free

Many people ask why there are two products that serve as the foundation to our weight loss line. The two products are BioLean II and BioLean Free, both thermogenic fat burners which also provide appetite control and boost energy.

The short answer is, they both produce the same results but they have a completely different set of ingredients. Because different people respond in different ways to supplementation, some people have better results with BioLean II than BioLean Free, and vice versa. BioLean II also seems to have a stronger energy-boosting effect in some people, which might be of concern if someone tends to be jumpy or nervous.

Another reason we have both products is that they help people undertaking a longer-term weight loss program (having more than 20 pounds to lose) to bust through weight loss plateaus.
